Ovens National School runs a very sucessful "Savings Scheme" in conjunction with Ballincollig Credit Union. There are up to one hundred and fifty children joined through the school and they get an opportunity to save each Thursday in school. |

A record number of 50 teams entered the Under 10 and Under 12 categories of the annual Credit Union Table Quiz in Ballincollig GAA last January. 15 teams from 4th and 5th class entuhsiastically represented Ovens National School. Putting their general knowledge to the test, great success was achieved. |
