April 2^nd, 2004 - Day of the Easter holidays

2nd Class went to Feis Maitiu on the 2^nd of April. It was the day of the holidays and all the rest of the school were gone home at 12 o’clock.  Second class participated in the Action Song competition. We dressed up and sang a song about Recycling. 

Second class won 1^st prize in the U-10 section of the competition. They all sang the Tom Chapin song which tells us how the stegosaurus turned into oil. Billy was our dinosaur and had a lovely costume. The message in the song was to recycle. We went on two separate buses. Ita played the piano. She came to the school to practice. Our photo was in the Echo.
