It was a bright and sunny morning when the boys and girls from 3rd
got ready for the Sciath na Scol final.
There was red and yellow pouring in the gates of Páirc Uí
Coimh.
The boys were due to play first at
1 O’Clock
so off they went closely followed by the girls and supporters.
But it turned out to be the girls first so off they rushed to get
ready. When the whistle blew
we knew it was going to be tough but 2 points from Claire Meaney put
Ovens in front. Then there
was a goal from Bishopstown. The
excitement filled the Park and a fantastic goal from Siobhán Hutchinson
put Ovens in front and a win of 3 points for Ovens.
We were delighted Ovens were the Sciath ns Scol champions!
