We
are delighted with both our teams this year. They trained very hard
every lunchtime from February on. The boys fielded a very strong team at
each of their five matches. St. Pats (Bandon), St Patrick’s (Gardiners
Hill), Upper Glanmire and Scoil Barra were all defeated by our able
hurlers, who lost only one game – to Scoil Eoin, Innishannon. Excitement
abounded on the morning of Friday 26th May – the day of the
Final! Our supporters were be-decked in red and yellow and were in fine
voice. They sang and chanted from the moment they entered Páirc Uí
Rinn, right through until the end of the match – definitely the best
supporters in |
