We are
getting ready to plant our mini woodland in the school grounds.
An area has been marked out and weeds have been suppressed. The
parents association are reviewing prices for fencing and we hope to
complete this as soon as possible.
Planting can then commence.
Nature trees including oak, birch, ash, alder and rowan will be
chosen first and each class will plant a tree.
We will also purchase native bare rooted shrub whips (holly,
hawthorn, hazel, crab apple and honeysuckle). This new resource will provide a local habitat for observation and investigation in the new Primary Science Programme. |
