Word
processing activities have been undertaken. Each child made a
PowerPoint Presentation based
on local information. Presentations included Kilcrea Abbey, Killumney,
Currabeg and many more
interesting topics. Research was carried out and the pupils completed
very good presentations .
These were shown to their classmates and to the 2nd class
children in the form of a slide show. A CD
of the complete work has been given to each pupil. Pupils compiled a
class newsletter and a magazine
as part of the course. These are full of very colourful articles. Thanks
to Matthew’s Dad for all the help.
The
magazine is a very colourful and up to date account of Ovens as it is
today.
