 Clann Lir - Video Launch
The Glorious Night of the Launch!!

Nothwithstanding two polls in the offing, Brian Crowley, MEP, chose to campaign on behalf of the Nice Treaty at the launch of the Ovens NS video, Clann Lir, which was produced as part of the EU Comenius Programme.

Clann Lir - the Video, was produced as part of the Ovens NS Year 2 Comenius project, 'Childrens Literature through Fingers'. The school used a cross-curricular approach incorporating English, Irish, Music, Art, Drama and History with great emphasis on the use of technology. 75 pupils were involved.

Mrs. Marian O'Callaghan acted as MC for the night and outlined the history of the project. The audience was welcomed by school principal Mr Dennis Lynch.

In attendance also were the Polish Consul and his wife, as well as a representative of the Italian consul. Donal Motnihan, TD, and Michael Creed, TD, were also present.
