Fundraising

All funds raised by the Parents Association are used to benefit the children in the school. Traditionally, the Parents Association have organized a number of social events that are enjoyed by all, such as refreshments following the First Holy Communion Mass, Wine Tasting Evening, Sponsored Walk, which provide an opportunity for parents, staff and children to meet informally. Other projects include

Procuring 18 new computers for the computer room.
Painting of the school playground for junior & Senior Infants.
Footpath to Éire Óg for children’s safety.
Extra Reading books.
Supplements to Swimming Programme
Sports Equipment
Easter Egg Raffle and eggs for all pupils.
Selection Boxes at Christmas per class.
Tracksuits
Bóthar
People in Need Coin day
Belarussian Orphanage Project (€825)

Funds are raised from a wide variety of sources. We wish to thank the large number of companies and individuals in the area who have donated so generously to our projects. School events such as ‘Rainbow days’ (non-uniform day), raffles, walks, talks ! Are all used to procure much needed funds and we thank you for your kind generosity. The Parents Association welcome any suggestions on fundraising and are delighted for any offers of help or direction in these matters.
