The Role of The Parents Association.
The
Ovens N.S. Parents Association was set up a number of years ago with the
main aim of encouraging
parental involvement in the various aspects of school life, such as
facilitating events of educational and social value for parents
,teachers, and pupils, or providing finance to improve facilities within
the school. We play an
active part in promoting effective co-operation and partnership between
home and school for the benefit of the students and parents alike. We
work in conjunction with the Principal, teachers, and Board of
Management to identify projects that further enhance school life for all
concerned. All parents of children attending Ovens National School are
entitled and encouraged to participate as members of the Parents
Association.
