Ovens pupil Michael O’Driscoll, along with Munster captain, Jim
Williams, brought the Celtic League Cup to our school recently.
Past pupil, Michael, went on to play rugby with Presentation College, U.C.C., Irish Universities, Cork Con, Munster and Ireland. Michael has just signed with Perpignan in the South of France. |

Lynch welcomed Michael and Jim Williams to our school and then Jim and
Michael spoke to the children. Michael recalled his time in Ovens N.S.
and spoke about his days playing Sciath na Scol.
Michael and Jim kindly presented a signed Munster jersey to the school. Afterwards both guests posed for photos with parents, teachers and students and signed autographs before leaving. We wish Michael all the best with his new club in France. |
