Sciath na Scol

"Ovens capture another Sciath na Scol"

Ovens N.S. boys team are F3 football champions for 2003-2004. This is a magnificent achievement as
we had the smallest number of boys to pick from of any team in our division.

The boys began training on the 2^nd of September and continued to train every day (except on match
days) up to the final, which was on October 21^st. They began with two challenge games, the first
against Scoil Barra, Ballincollig, which they won and the second against Kilmurray (6th class only )
which they lost. The Sciath na Scol competition itself began on September 23^rd and the following
are their results.
