Every day during the months of September and October  5^th and 6^th class girls have been taking part in football training during their second lunch. Unfortunately they didn’t qualify for the finals in Páirc Uí Chaoimh but they did their best . This year Mrs. Murphy and Miss Kelleher have been involved in the training and we are extremely grateful for that. We played four difficult matches against Scoil Barra, Whitechurch, Douglas and Innishannon who were very successful and made it to the final. There were a great number of supporters cheering for us on the sideline which was a great help. Hopefully our school will do much better next year.

In September our school team Ovens played Douglas.  In the end we lost 2-1 to 1-0. The opposition  were  pretty nice after the match. They gave us Capri-suns.
