| Aoife reports on our first-ever participation and win in the Irish Choral Verse competition in Feis Maitiú. | |||

She says: On Friday 11th
of March our class went to Feis Maitiú to do Irish Choral verse. It was on
in Father Matthew Hall. We did “Ag Éisteacht leis and Raidió” and
“Cois Farraige”. We were up against some very good groups from
Gael Scoileanna. We were delighted when the adjudicator called out 1st
place, Group 2 , Ovens National school. We all started cheering and
clapping. |
