Sixth Class News!

6th class has a total of 32 children.

There are 13 boys and 19 girls. Our teacher is Mrs. O’Callaghan.

People in Need

On the 26/9/07  Ovens N.S.  collected Coins for People In Need 2007.  Each class collected lots of coins. We laid out coins to say “RTE People in need Ovens N.S 2007” and somebody from RTE came out and filmed the whole thing. Children from the school were  on T.V. on the 26th of October. We were all singing “Come on Everybody”.

We collected about 2,300 euro. in total. 6th class children dressed up as characters from books which they had read. On the afternoon of the 26th, a group of children representing the school appeared on the Den. Hannah, Jean, Rachel , Aoife and Josie were on the show dressed in their colourful  costumes.
