| The following is an account of 4th Class Pupils' impressions of the night: |
|
Ali, Claire, Kevin, Ciaran and Michael all went to the school concert on the 30th of March. We all had great craic and cheered on the bands. When the Donncha Lynch band started to play a waltz, Kevin and Ciaran started to dance along with the adults. As the night went on, Murphy’s Men took to the stage. They played a great selection of songs and we ended up in the front row clapping and singing all night long. We had great fun suggesting songs to them - "I’ll tell my ma", "You’re Drunk, You’re Drunk you silly old fool", and "some say the devil is dead". When
it was finished, our hands were like fire from clapping and we can’t
wait for the next concert and where will we be?? Only up in the front row,
clapping and cheering!! |
